Outline of The Role of the Most Trusted Advisor
The Role of the Most Trusted Advisor program is based on experiential learning or learn by doing. Participants practice each new concept or tool on a typical family business so they can then apply the learnings to their own clients.
This approach is extremely successful as it accommodates different learning styles through the incorporation of video, audio, discussions, group and individual exercises with traditional instruction methodology.
This introductory level program consists of four full-day workshops incorporating four successive levels
PART ONE - Format: Group-live
Level One: Basic - Moving clients across the Line of Confidence
Level Two: Intermediate - Moving through the Initiation Stage
PART TWO - Format: Group-live
Level Three: Advanced - Moving through the Implementation Stage
Level Four: Advanced - Position yourself for Success
Each workshop runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and qualifies for 7 CPE credits.
Pre-Course Work
In preparation for Level One of the program, you will be required to complete the SuccessCare® Questionnaire designed to provide you with a snapshot of the issues facing your family business clients. This 10-minute online questionnaire is a values-based fact finding tool that will identify the perceptions of key individuals within a family business in 13 different areas that impact the ability to transition the business. There is no pre-course work for Levels Two, Three and Four.
