Moving through the Initiation Stage
In Level Two, participants will further develop their knowledge and skills while acquiring additional tools to enhance their role. They will review the steps to move clients through the Initiation Stage, refine their common interest and work together to remove the roadblocks to a successful transition. Participants will discover how the napkin tools form the foundation of an organization's strategic direction and will work in groups to devise a plan for the continuity of the business.
Day Two ~ Learning Objectives
- Understand the process to helping entrepreneurs develop stewardship and leadership.
- Understand the different types of capital that must be transitioned to the next generation leadership.
- Understand the role of permanent insurance in enabling the financial component of a transition.
- How to implement some of the structures that will provide the formality that entrepreneurs need to ultimately adopt a change in leadership.
- How these structures will not only enable clients to build systems and processes that will support a transition but also strengthen their family unit.
Day Two ~ Learning Outcomes:
- Confidence to discuss the importance of a strong family unit.
- Non-threatening and easy-to-adopt ways to move the family towards the Implementation Stage.
- A comprehensive approach to developing a strategic plan.
- Effective tools for implementing a management transition.
- Process for protecting and transitioning the financial assets.
